Madeira was my 3rd trip with Steve, and lived up to expectations. Days are long and full, visiting super photo locations. Steve runs a very well organised trip, yet it feels relaxed, and there is always time to make sure everyone is happy with their shots. This was the most physically demanding of the three trips but the destinations were worth it. It was one of the most fun trips I have done. Great company, great leader, great trip, great photos.
Back in September I went on a photo workshop to Valencia with Steven Gosling. Three fabulous full days with a tutor who was intimate with the location, both old Valencia and the Arts & Science Park, which is a modern architectural wonder. Crucially, Steve was in tune with that one vital aspect we photographers are forever chasing: the light.
The variety of places to visit was excellent. I have never captured so many stunning pictures. Learned a lot and used filters, long exposure so fulfilled some challenges!

I can thoroughly recommend the Workshop. The Workshop shooting with the supplied model was great but so also was the free time shooting of the Carnival costume models. Put it on your bucket list Mine is now ticked.
I booked Steve for a 2 hour 1 to 1 session. I had a new camera as a birthday gift and wanted to know how best to use it. Steve planned a route around London landmarks and he was great at explaining everything in a way that is easy to understand.
I joined one of Steve’s long exposure workshops in London. I had played with long exposures a few times but always struggled to get it right. Steve had a set of filters I borrowed. I learned loads during the trip and have now bought my own set of filters and now with his help have improved this type of photo.
Steve put together a great dance workshop, visiting many of London’s locations with a great selection of costumes.
What an amazing trip! Steve found us the most amazing locations in Venice and Jes just worked very hard to get us the best shots.
I’m not one for organised tours, and whilst this trip to Madeira was clearly well organised, it didn’t feel like it. Day to day planning was excelelnt, but done in a very subtle manner. Clients included in decision making. The company and the banter was mighty!
The help and advice from Steve was great for me and I always felt supported. I managed to get some really good photos. The workshop was so well organised, great locations for taking photographs. Tiffany was lovely, she was great to work with. The group size was right I think. It was a rewarding experience with lots of support, brilliant places to take photos. Great atmosphere in the group and also enjoyed our meals out in the evening. Beautiful gowns and Tiffany and Steve worked so well together.
We all had a great time on the dance workshop with Steve and Felicia in London. I came away with a great selection of images.
Our group was a good mix of abilities and Steve helped everyone at the right level. I class myself as an advanced photographer but I still learned loads and Steve was really great at explaining things. Great workshop.
Really enjoyed the weekend photo walk. I learned to see my images so much better than before. I’m writing this a few weeks after the class and I can see my photography has already improved no end.
