Creative Makeup + Visionary Head Pieces + Awesome Outfits
= Inventive Model Day
This workshop brings the amazing Kristina of Sister of Sinister to our London workshops. I have shot Kristina before and her dedication to her craft is incredible.
We bring together amazing outfits, creative makeup, incredible head pieces to combine in to one day of incredible photography.
During the day we will create at least 4 very different looks enabling everyone to get a range of images.
There will be a break for lunch (not supplied) and free tea/coffee/drinks will be available all day.
The workshop takes place in South London at Maan Studios, Unit 2, 1 Watts Mews, off Conyers Road, Streatham, London SW16 6AA. Click HERE for more studio details and directions.
Date: Saturday 26th May 2018, 10.30am to 5.30pm
Cost: £87.00 per person – please book your place(s) above.
What to bring? DSLR or your preferred camera. We will be using professional studio flash equipment so your camera will need a conventional flash hot shoe where the flash trigger will be fitted. Lens wise you will need either a prime portrait lens ranging from 50mm to 100mm or a zoom covering a similar range. Memory cards (or film) and batteries. Lots of imagination and creative ideas! Tripod not needed.
What experience do I need for this workshop? All our workshops are aimed at photographers of all abilities. If you are a beginner, we will offer all the help you need and take care of the lighting and help you with your camera settings. If you are an experienced photographer or expert in studio lighting you are free to adjust the lights yourself, etc. Our model is experienced working with photographers at all abilities so can simply pose for you or is equally happy to take direction.
Here’s a sample gallery of the style of photography we will be achieving at this workshop – no fake mood boards – these are all photos taken of our model with her own head pieces and makeup:
Not all the above outfits, makeup looks, scenarios will be available on the workshop and some images above feature post production techniques, but we will achieve at least 4 very different looks during the workshop.
